Venetian plaster is a lime-based decorative finish made from slaked lime and finely ground marble dust. Applied in multiple thin layers and burnished by hand, it produces a luminous, mirror-deep surface with extraordinary visual depth — a finish that has been used in Italian architecture for centuries.
